I believe that doflamingo would defeat Ace if they ever fought. Why, because doflamingo can use all 3 haki and has a freaking impervious body and can stop and slice enemies to pieces with his string . What's your opinion .
I second this.If anything it would be a high difficulty fight, but I see Doflamingo winning.
Agreed with this .Ace would win. He is a bad match-up for Doflamingo since fire burns threads. Rebecca wants the fruit for a reason. It's Doflamingo's weakness. Entei GG

Doflamingo isn't controlling a logia body. Haki doesn't stop a DF user to use his abilitiesDoflamingo has Haki. He can create threads with Haki to nullify the fire and it still cuts.
In this fight, it all depends on who has Haki and who does not. Ace has shown no Haki usage, therefore he has no way to combat Haki.
Not to mention Ace can be easily controlled by Doflamingo, adds Haki to the fire and shoots it towards his heart.
Doflamingo wins easily.
Haki nullifies any Devil Fruit abilities. That's why Luffy got hurt from Garp's punch. If you mean by stopping it literally, I don't think so either. But the fire is nullified anyway so it doesn't make difference in this case IMO.Doflamingo isn't controlling a logia body. Haki doesn't stop a DF user to use his abilities
Didn't think Doflamingo could use haki on threads and i've yet to see a DF user(or normal one even) capable to use haki on range attacks. It depends on the power of the haki as well. Could his haki really be sufficient to the point his threads could contain fire? Doubtful

Read the manga. Haki only allows to touch DF users. It doesn't stop them to use their abilitiesHaki nullifies any Devil Fruit abilities. That's why Luffy got hurt from Garp's punch. His threads cannot contain fire, but he can add Haki to Ace himself. He controls him tot the point he may shoot fire, and since the part of the body is nullified and real body is exposed, Ace will burn his heart for example.
And the fire would get nullified if he added it to his threads. As for if he did not, the threads would burn.
INFO; Mihawk and Zoro used Haki in slashes The women in Boa Hancock's island used arrows enhanced with Haki.

Where did Mihawk and Zoro use haki slashes?
I think doffy would defeat ace as easily as he defeated smokerIf anything it would be a high difficulty fight, but I see Doflamingo winning. That is not to say ace can't win, he can pull it off. I'm just saying, I would choose Doflamingo more times than not.
Have you seen how doflamingo defeated everyone he fights in a manner of seconds. Doflamingo can probably defeat ace within 2 minutes . All ace really uses is his logia powers, doflamingo have his df powers and the usage of all 3 hakiWrong section. Honestly, i don't see Doflamingo beating Ace in a fair 1v1 fight. I've always seen Doflamingo as slightly weaker. But Dofla's abilities are a pain.
With intel: Ace wins
Without intel: Doflamingo
