Sage Mode and Kyuubi Mode arn't techniques, they're modes, and also EMS is a advanced type of Eye.

Naruto, yes it does annoy me he didn't even learn more then 2 wind techniques. However sasuke knows quite a bit of a fire and lightning along with his MS techniques. All naruto uses now a days is rasengan which I don't think will change sadly. >.< Also KM and sage mode are not techniques, same with EMS.

Okay agreed ems sage and kyuubi modes are not techniques and sauske just manipulates his chidori into different shapes which is the same with narutos rasengan its just alittle different(ie. Bigger different color mulitple or stronger)
sasuke does possess fire but he really only uses the fireball technique

Sasuke will always be more versatile just because of the simple fact, that if he wished he could copy jutsu like kakashi...

And sasuke has many different Fire jutsu...
Fire jutsu don't just fall under variations of 1 fire jutsu.....They aren't all the same.. Are all water jutsu the same? T.T

He really only uses variations of chidori same as Naruto uses variations of the rasengan. Sasuke can also use fire but he doesn't do that much with it.

Eye techniques not withstanding Sasuke has only a few more jutsus that Naruto.

They are both underdeveloped in most areas of being ninjas. I mean neither of them know hardly anything about genjutsu, fuinjutsu, medical ninjutsu, tracking, making traps, etc. And Naruto doesn't use his element to its potential. Sasuke does that well though, at least for lightning, but not for fire.

tbh I hated older cartoonz back in the day where some guy just pullz a move outta his ass that no one ever saw b4, that 1 shots a boss, and then that move disappears never to be seen in the show ever again, bcuz now the guyz gettin worked over by fodder characters. Naruto could use a few more moves, but heck, I say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

So you're saying all of sasuke's fire techniques are the same even though they are different? If it's different from the original then it's a new technique.

Four fire jutsus and that's alot for a 16 years old. Sasuke has maybe shown us the most elemental jutsus.

well for one, sasuke rarely uses fire anymore, mostly just his lightning techs and his ems moves. But all this talk about variety aside, why would they need more techs? chidori, at least on the level sasuke uses it is about the strongest you get in lightning(minus the beastly special moves the kazikages use) and its already been shown that rasengan is close to the top of s rank moves and rasenshuriken is pretty much the same but add the wind attribute to it. If you know some of the top ranked moves for your affinity, why bother learning or using weak moves just because you want to change it up?
