Does the Byakugan and Tensiegan have some kind of genjutsu resistance?

Sharingan and Byakugan notice when a Genjutsu is happening, but it's up to the user's ability to break out.

Tensiegan probably is the same as Byakugan when it comes to Genjutsu. But I could be wrong.

OP asking about resistance, thats mean some kind of immunity toward Ganjutsu(sound, visual etc).

From that point, no, Byakugan and Tenseigan not having any resistance toward any kind of Ganjutsu.

That's impossible, all visual genjutsu [hence the name] requires the users eyes to be open.

Rinnegan genjutsu KA and Izanami does tho.

I think byakugan users can avoid getting caught in genjutsu and even escape from weak ones.

probably Rinnegan genjutsu is the only thing the byakugan can't dodge since it does not need eye contact and inescapable without rinnegan.

How is it fanfiction when it was already shown that genjutsu like tsukyomi can be avoided through closing ones eyes?

No, they can only detect when it's in use, but that can help them break out of it near instantly.

However, a Byakugan user can just close their eyes to make it so that visual genjutsu has a 0% chance of affecting them.

Your second line is just fanfic, there's no proof of that. Kakashi and Sasuke are the biggest proof that dojutsu is shut off when its user close the eyes. And even if they could see through eyelids, they would be casted on genjutsu anyway, since eyelids and nothing would be the same.

Yeah this is most likely the case but the it seems that they can avoid getting caught in some genjutsu kinda like dodging instead of tanking since they can detect genjutsu like other users stated.

In any case, Sharingan isn't Byakugan. So unless it's said so, their functions aren't the same. But really, by that logic, a dojutsu would shut off every time a user blinks and they'd need to reactivate it.

Not at all. The eyelids would prevent chakra from entering the Hyuga's eyes [visual genjutsu works by putting chakra into the opponent's eyes, sound genjutsu works by doing it through the ears]. Meanwhile, the Byakugan would still allow them to see where their opponent is and fight normally.
