Does the 2011 anime stick exactly to the Manga?

Im finally getting into HxH something I've wanted to do since late 2013.

My thing is, is the Anime canonical to the Manga? If it it's extremely close then how far into the manga does it actually go? Currently Netflix has 5 seasons. Where in the manga should I pick up reading after I complete the anime?

I don't know, just make sure to watch it then tell me what happened in the last episode and I can tell you.

You're in for a good ride! This anime is still in my Top 5. :)

I haven't read the manga, but it's adapted by Madhouse, and they usually stick very closely to the original source.

I think the anime goes up until like chapter 330ish in the manga. The manga has an extra 12ish chapters.

You'd be better of watching on a different site like crunchy roll because Netflix stops in the middle of the chimera ant arc its a great arc so don't disappoint yourself

Yes it does!
Watch the 2011 version and then switch to the Manga.
The show follows the manga extremely close. But the manga goes further where as the anime seems to have an ending
Yeah it does. Don't miss HxH y'all. It's the best shounen

I've been binge watching the shit out of this anime but I just almost lost it when Gon & Killua could've escaped Pakunoda but decided against it because they didn't want Kurapika to kill Chrollo.

Like are you fucking kidding me? I just… what? That's literally the whole reason Kurapika lives, Gon wants him to have other goals but the fastest way to move on to other goals is to accomplish ones already set.

I felt like it was a childish way of looking at the situation but I can understand not wanting your friend to do something that could potentially send them down the wrong path and you've seen how kurapika loses his shit over the troupe but as you continue watching you'll see how he benefited from the choice they made
