What do you think? Is he fast enough to access the Speed Force?
I think you're misinterpreting the speed force. Speed doesn't = access to the speed force.

What gives the Flash's their speed IS the speed force, meaning theyre constantly accessing it. The reason Flash's are able to get faster is because or Barry Allen, he essentially creates the speed force and the more he runs, it grows. However there is also a Reverse Speed Force (though it's really the same), which is used by the Reverse Flash. When a speed force is being shared between multiple speedsters, they cannot access it all and the result is they can't run as fast.

Being connected to the Speed Force has nothing to do with how fast you can move without it. Meaning no matter how fast Sonic, or any character for that matter of any verse can go has no bearing on being able to connect to and use the Speed Force. This connection is either created through somekind of accident or being related to Barry Allen the progenitor of the Speed Force itself which cuts through time and space throughout all of time in the DC universe.

Also a second reason Sonic or any other character in any other verse cannot use or even form a connection to the speed force in other dimensions or universes is because it only exists in the DC universe. This is shown in crossovers when the Flash has gone to the Marvel universe and been unable to access and use the Speed Force. So whatever universe Sonic is in, has no Speed Force thus using it is impossible.

Also comparing speed Sonic is nothing compared to any Speedster, Speed of sound is only 340.29 m / s which is Sonic's usual speed the fastest Sonic has ever gone is 1 341.12 m / s which is still a fraction of the speed of light which speedsters can reach. Jay Garrik does this easily and he's one of the slowest Speedsters when he meets Barry he learns how to go faster reaching speeds 20x the speed of sound or 6800 m/s which is easily 5 to 6 times faster than Sonic's top speed. Barry goes to the speed of light and beyond and can even run through time and outrun death itself.

I thought the Speed Force is some sort of worm hole/track or something that it happens when someone runs fast to create it to travel time.

No, it's a force created by Barry Allen as Kryptiic said. Only those who have gone through some sort of accident (Wally West, Jay Garrik) or is related to Barry Allen, or I believe Wally West as well (Bart Allen, Jai and Iris West) can access the Speed Force. Or those who siphon off the Speed Force from other Speedsters like Savitar and his cult.

Not entirely true if we count Archie Sonic his speed along the lines of faster than light or infinite or something of that sort

Pretty much what everyone above has said. Sonic can't access the Speed Force, but he has something similar called Chaos Force.
Any of his chaos power via chaos emeralds or super chaos emeralds give him the power to stop time, time travel, teleportation, etc. many of the powers the Flash has.

I know that, but it would be exciting for Sonic to test his limits without the chaos emeralds.

Would it make any difference if Sonic was in DC universe? Or is Speed Force more like something gifted rather than acquirable?

Sonic the hedgehog? It's possible. Very possible. He was able to escape a black hole, which not even light can escape, in not even his most powerful form. But he isn't interested in things like that.

Sonic from One Punch Man? Very doubtful.

edit: posts above suggest its exclusive to the DC universe which I thought in the first place so I guess no

Sonic is faster than light. He casually escapes black holes numerous times in Rush.
Again as I said speed has nothing to do with connection to the speed force. So just because Sonic can go faster then I originally thought doesn't mean he can connect to the speed force anyway. The Speed Force isn't something that all Speedsters access in the DC universe, there are Speedsters who get their powers from some other source and have tried and failed to make connections to the Speed Force. Several speedsters in the DC universe aren't even connected to the Speed Force.

These include but aren't limited to Hunter Zoloman, Zoom (Speedster who slows down time, instead of speeding himself up), Inertia (Speedster who relies on a similar method to Zoom, and needs to alter time. At one point he lost this ability and had to rely on a speed enhancing drug) and Impulse from New Earth who got his powers from an Lex Luthor experiment (not to be confused with Wally West's daughter "Impulse" or Bart Allen "Impulse".)

I've given the only ways that it's possible to form a connection with the speed force twice accident, or being related to another Speedster who already has a connection to the Speedforce buuuut this can actually be wonky as Wally West's children ended up sharing a connection with the speed force between the two which limited their powers to only certain aspects of Speed Force usage (Intangibility, and Super Strength.) Kryptiic even explained how the Speed Force is produced. As Barry Allen moves at superspeed he creates the energy almost like an engine, as the force is created other speedsters are then able to tap into and use it but the number of Speedsters tapping into said Force limits how much can be accessed and used since it is in a way massive but still finite.

Also I'd like to note any Speedster who taps into the Speed Force and runs near, or past the Speed of Light runs the risk of being absorbed by the Speed Force. Especially if they don't have an anchor to the DC world. EG, For Barry it was Iris West, for Wally it was Linda Park West, and it was a huge part of the comics that without that anchor if you go past a certain speed you will become one with the speed force and be stuck there which happened to Johnny Quick and Max Mercury, Savitar and even Barry Allen for all the years from Crisis on Infinite Earths to Flash: Rebirth.

I know that, but it would be exciting for Sonic to test his limits without the chaos emeralds.

Would it make any difference if Sonic was in DC universe? Or is Speed Force more like something gifted rather than acquirable?
Not really. As I've said doesn't matter how fast Sonic can go. Speed Force is something that only certain speedsters can tune into and use. My guess is if you put Sonic in the DC universe his speed would be reduced since as all the people above said his power comes from Chaos Energy wtv that is. Meaning that's in his universe so taking him out of that universe cuts him off from his source of speed just like taking the Flash out of the DC universe cuts him off from the Speed Force, so he'd have no speed in the DC universe imo, and would have no way of creating a connection to the Speed Force.

Stuck in my head now .-. because of this whole discussion.

^I read your earlier post and wasn't suggesting that he could access the speed force any longer, I was just saying he went faster than that.

And base Sonics speed is all thanks to his own efforts. Everything Super Sonic and beyond, and special abilities such as Chaos Control, are credited to Chaos Emeralds. But given his growth, he can easily exceed the speed of sound at base form now.

Understandable, was just furthering my points.

I talked about Sonic's base, and even the highest he's ever gone in a game outside using things like Light Speed Dash, or Light Speed attack since those need certain power ups and specific situations like running along a trail of rings. The highest recorded speed for him is 1341.12 m / s, (bar Light Speed attacks) taking into consideration Jay Garrik goes 20xs the speed of sound easily which is 6800 m/s the two can be compared rather easily. Sound speed for a DC speedster who's tapped into the Speedforce is rather slow even for someone like Jay Garrik who is the slowest speedster. Especially compared to the Barry or Wally.

We're talking about speedsters that can think at the speed of light and perceive and react to things that happen in less than an attosecond. The smallest measurable amount of time is 12 attoseconds.

A incarnation of the Flash out ran death itself and ran through time (this is something a lot of Speedsters can do though). Sonic's top speed is unknown, it's only been speculated that he moves at a speed faster than light, whereas the math has been done before for an incarnation of the Flash (pretty sure it was Wally) and he was shown going 13 trillion times the speed of light to save 532,000 people from a nuclear explosion. He saved an entire city in .00001 microseconds. Casually he can reach 500 times the speed of light without even trying (Wally).

Wiki says they both have, can't remember the other time.
He cant as said by the other people.

But it seems we have many Flash fans. So is Wally West faster than Barry. After watching Young Justice I'm a Wally fan
Honestly, I want to say Barry, because he's the reason the speed force exists. Without him there is no speed force, but honestly I don't know. Wally has had some amazing feats 13 trillion times the speed of light, outrunning death etc. The best way to look at it is, whoever is the Flash at that moment and is the leading charc of the comic you're reading is the fastest in that continuity but eh. That's just my own assumption because writers can be fickle.

I dont want to touch all things you has post here just at the bold only.

SMH at this DC author. I know its fictional story but death is not speed. Its concept is not about speed but life. Death even can occured when you still a baby or teen and not only when you get old.

You lost your soul=you're death. You cant outrun your own soul. Unless this black death Flash is Angel of Death or Shinigami or something similar to that, he can outrun him. Because this character have speed time.

If God call your soul out, you will die instantly. Attosecond speed still has small gap between a second(one quintillionth of a second) and instant(0 second) thats mean it will not outrun instant.

Yikes, keep in mind it's for entertainment purposes. Anyway, the Black Flash, the entity he was running from is the personification of Death for Speedsters in the DC universe. When a Speedster is about to die sometimes it/he comes for them to drag them into the Speedforce outrunning it simply is a way to show that the Flash is extremely fast. So fast that when determined even time, or death can be outrun. You can say they can't, but you're not the writer of the comic who distinctly made it possible for Barry and Wally to outrun the personification of Death.

Keep in mind in that instance Flash is running through time. He goes to a place where Death doesn't exist the end of time.

Your info seems accurate, but where are you getting Sonics highest speed reading from?

The Sonic Unleashed game which his top speed is listed at 1341.12 m/s, and the Sonic Adventure Manual DX that lists his top speed as 3,840 mph, or 1716.6336 m/s. These are the only places I found actually math'ed out speed readings besides a video that puts him at 80 m/s by taking the length of a sonic level and math'ing out the distance traveled by the time. Notice I said " in a game" in my last post because I don't read the Sonic comics. Now as I mentioned with attacks he can reach the speed of light but it doesn't say he goes faster than that and even then the speed is brief and a brief speed boost can't compare to a continuous speed. As for comic info, anyone who can prove me wrong with comic scans can go for it. I'm not delving through an entire comic series after looking up all this information from the interwebs.

Where I found my information:
and:

Also to match The Flash's top shown speed, he'd have to go 13 trillion times the speed of light. Which Sonic's top speed is unknown but his shown speed is mentioned above, so as I said before I actually don't know if he could. But Supersonic speed, and Hypersonic speed just won't cut it.

Edit: Okay, got a break from L4D2. Will do the math myself because yes I'm that ****ing bored, and I'd rather do this then post in forum games.

Anyway, found these.

We'll say that distance is about Colorado to New York as the map seems to be based on America if so we'll say he got there in eh 1 second. So that would be 1,842.0 mi in a second or 2,964,411.65 m/s, 2,964,411 m/s for simplicity's sake compared to Light Speed 299,792,458 m/s. So that puts him 299496047 m/s off of Light Speed. That's no power ups or anything and he was pissed so I figure that's top comic speed without power ups.

Now with Chaos Emeralds, because not giving him those would be ****ish, let's say he travels at the speed of light. Not only does Sonic not see The Flash's speed trail as he runs off at 13 trillion times the speed of light, personally I'm guessing he doesn't see The Flash at all as he's pretty much left in the dust. Like Supes when he tried to catch up to the Flash in Rebirth.
