Does Sharingan "copy"?

Everywhere I turn, I see people talking about Sasuke and how he can mimic anyone's ability and "copy almost any jutsu just by seeing it", etc.

Now, I'm not saying that it can't, because I don't know, thus this thread. But hear me out.

Kakashi is known as the Copy Ninja, ya? It's pretty basic and common knowledge that it is his sharingan that allows him this title. But I'm not sure if just anyone with a sharingan can do this. I believe it's just Kakashi's raw skill level that allows him to do this.

If "copying" was a hardlined attribute of the sharingan, then wouldn't that mean every one of the Uchiha would be able to use any jutsu they'd ever encountered? I've never heard of any other sharingan-user using anothers' jutsu, nor have I heard of them even having the ability to.

every sharnigan has the power to copy other techniques
kakashi was just known for it coz he would do it in every fight

sasuke copied lees taijutsu hence forth sasuke being able to get through garaa's defence in chuunin exams

the only thing they cant copy is KG

plus you dont really see uchiha in action seeming most of them are gone we've seen 5 sharingan users fight out of who knows how many uchiha there have been

What the Sharingan does is slow down movements and see Chakra, Kakashi Uses these to traits to Copy Handseals and Mimic his Chakra with the Opponent so he can Copy there Move and Learn Jutsu Faster. It takes alot of Skill to Do what Kakashi Does with the Sharingan. anyone with the Sharingan can Use this Method. if you remember Kakashi taught the method to Sasuke so he can copy Lee's Taijutsu in the Chunnin Exams. But to be able to do it like Kakashi and Make the Handseals faster then his opponent takes years of training and lots of focus so that's why you Never here about other Uchiha doing it.. U_U

no they wouldn't be able to copy every!!!! jutsu... reason being is they may be able to know how the jutsu is performed.. but there are certain types of chalkra.. that's like saying every uchiha had every type of chalkra and could use every element.. when in reality nobody can used every single element except for maybe the so6p... soo no they might be able to copy movements but unless they have the same chalkra element as the person they are trying to copy they won't be able to actually used the jutsu... does this help?

Also just adding this in but Kakashi has multiple Elemental affinities.... most Uchiha are basically Katon users except Sasuke who uses Raiton... if you don't have the ability to mimic the chakra nature then you can't copy the jutsu.... but like Frederick said the sharingan can be used to copy and predict movement and chakra usage....

i like the idea of the theory so far... kakashi copying the ms from itachi... that would mean that kakashi is able to surpass an uchiha in the usage of the sharingan... that would make kakashi even more badass and genious than he used to be considered... i kinda feel as if throughout the serious everyone else kept improving and improving and kakashi surpassed then left in the dust... i would hope kakashi would make some sort of come back.. plus this and what i just said would kinda come back to what kishi said about soon will be kakashi's year.. or kakashi would become one of the biggest parts of the series.
