Does Sakura have what it takes to be a good hokage?

Tsunade kept Sasuke off the Bingo Book hit squad list for 3 years because of her personal feelings, in case you forgot.

Hashirama let Madara openly defy him and abandon the village, turning a blind eye to his near enslavement of the other villages Hashirama tried to desperately to make peace with.

Hiruzen allowed Danzo to perform covert child kidnappings and assassinations, and allowed the massacre of half the village because his friend wanted power.

Great answer. But those people allowed it to happen because of their feelings but what I'm asking is not if Sakura would allow it, but would she join him

Let me start with this she would not betray the village for Sasuke.

I think she would be a good Hokage. She will be looked up to as someone who has no natural ability and is one of the strongest normal people in the Naruto world. She wouldn't be able to defend a attack on the leaf but with help she can organize to stop it. She won't be great but good. Although she can be bad if at a Gokage meeting she hits a guy for a smart remark.

Bottom line is I'm sure there would be better options.

Didn't Tsunade not want to become Hokage? Wasn't she actually against becoming Hokage? She was a good Hokage.

I'd actually place my bet on Sakura. She is the Student of the 5th and 6th Hokage and (I'm being realistic here) aside from Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi, the only other one who has faced Kaguya and lived to tell the tale.


She is also the 3rd strongest ninja in the village currently (no this is not a troll she actually is)

Sasuke just doesn't seem like Hokage material. Not that he lacks the power, but I don't picture him doing paper work all day behind a desk XD

Candidates I think would be Shikamaru, Sakura, Sasuke if not Kakashi.

Sakura because she is the apprentice of the 5th hokage, who was the grand daughter of the 1st and student of the 3rd. The 3rd was also the student of the 2nd, who was the brother of the 1st. Her master was also said to be equal to the man who was the 4th's master. Sakura is also student of the 6th and teammate of the 7th. And wife of Sasuke and queen to the Uchiha. And has proven her strength and herself as a major asset to the lead village. She is fit to be hokage and is directly and indirectly connected to all the hokage and other strong people further reinforces her credibility.

Shikamaru is just really smart, he should be like a master general. Sasuke is too busy being the man behind the curtain.

And to all those who say she would betray her village for Sasuke, that's ridiculous, that was 12 year old Sakura that thought about it, and she had no major duty.

Nobody can make her turn, and as Hokage, Sasuke would not turn on her, but protect her and the village. He would be the shadow to her light. And they would use her office to revive the Uchiha clan.
