Again that scene isn't classified as a weak-willed when he actually lost something precious to him (the lives of the shinobi), Sasuke is more cold hearted in that aspect, he could of witnessed someone dying before him and he would not have bashed an eyelash. Anyone would of felt that way if you had promised to keep someone safe, and they died.

It was exactly the same reaction what had happened with him with Neji except he was more stunned that time but yeah my point mainly was that he needed someone to egg him on that time too because he was doing nothing just staring at Obito in anger and crying and Sasuke got him out of that trance
