that's right. It's been seen mangekyo tecs used without the MS eye symbol. madara probabily has it, but doesnt activate because of the large amount of chakra is uses.. when madara battles, we will definitly see his EMS

guys madara had the EMS from the time he fought hashirama, his brother sacrificed his eyes for him to obtain it remember?

i think the more appropriate question should be, is "tobi" really madara? cause if i notice it right zetsu never called him by the name "madara" only tobi, and yeah most of us probably noticed it to, tobi never used the EMS which can be an indicator that tobi "madara" lost the EMS or he never had one,.. from the words of the great itachi (" he is just a shell of his former self "). and the word of tobi "madara" him self from the 5 kage summit (" right now i'm powerless, i am nothing more than an empty shell of my former self "), and kaboto's confrontaton of madara ( tobi, you are called "madara" now a days right? ") not sure of the exact words kabuto said, cant remember which chapter.. but yeah it basically mean that way...

susanoo is a sharingan technique used only when the ms is activated... i seriously doubt rinnegan can bring it out.

Madara has the EMS when he fought the first hokage but the hoake was to much for him. Madara summoned the fox but the first hokage had better control than Madara. I think Madara wanted to lose on purpose so he can gain his powers that's what he said to sasuke too.

Well Itachi said Madara still has his eyes, So Maybe EMS requires a lot of chakra etc, or high amounts of yin chakra .

atm Madara prolly does not have that kind of chakra.

another guess is, Madaras' EMS is in a Jar and he currently is using another Sharingan .
