Does kotoamatsukami require eye contact?

) and shisui and kabuto are involved, now I said that 4 of the 5 opposing team members can counter KA, kabuto by sealing his eyes like he did against the uchiha brothers making him imune to genjutsu. Now someone is tryna tell me that KA doesn't require eye contact. Now im guessing they are referring to when danzo used KA on mifune but if im correct, danzo may have covered his eye, but mifune's eyes were still wide open.

So in my opinion, KA requires the user to see the target's eye, but the target dosen't need to see the user's eye. Is this correct or am I wrong?
