He was on the defensive the entire time, he never got aggressive like he did with kaguya, an opponent who he hit with pure speed that sasuke couldn't touch even with teleportation. Frog Kumite. Something that doesn't need contact to hit and the impact of a regular SM Naruto using it is already deadly.

RSM Naruto using it would make it overkill.

It also can't be absorbed.

Naruto didn't use any deadly attack because :
1- He was low on chakra
2- Any stronger attacks would be absorbed by Sasuke .... So it would be waste of chakra

Look at Danzo : He first chooses an eye to become blind and then attacks the enemy And cheats his death ...
You must plan for Izanagi (on which eye to become blind and how to cheat your death) ... And Sasuke didn't expect to be killed at that point ..,

another thing. it was made crystal clear by naruto himself that they would have bled to death. if naruto held back/was truly stronger then am pretty sure he would have defeated sasuke without needing to be a situation where he himself is going to die without outside intervention. so basically what this fanboys are saying is naruto would prefer he and sasuke die instead of making his alleged superiority count and beat him to prevent such a situation. i cant :lol

He also let sasuke set the entire pace of the battle by allowing him to attack and spent most of the time countering, he could've easily hit him with a massive bijuu rasenshuriken before letting him absorb the bijuu but he didn't because he didn't want to kill.
