Neither him nor Madara are known for great speed feats, they don't rely on it since they have one of the strongest defences in NV, Hashi's being his healing and Maddy's being his Susano'o

Well Madara with Hashirama's body enhancements was able to "blitz" Sage Mode Naruto. That says alot.

no he's not a speed beast.. although he's bound to have good speed as that is required of someone of his stature but you are right, he has good reactions... since tobirama was fastest in that era so he definitely was below him... hashirama was a power beast and so was madara... That's the parallel kishi left in the manga.. hashirama and madara were power beasts while minato and obito were speed beasts... hashiram beat madara in power and minato beat obito in speed...

Not really impressive since Naruto was still only 15 years old and Itachi was easily capable of keeping up with him in KCM

Hashirama's Cells is said to be overflowing with physical energy. I dont see why its not possible for it to boost physical attributes. After all, Obito using Hashirama's Vessel as an catalyst was able to shatter an large boulder.
