does doing rinne tensei for a single person get you killed? i mean, pein was able to revvie a village thru rinne tensei. he died of chakra exhaustion.

if pein was reviving single person and not a village would he have survived?

Obito is getting old due to rinnei tensei which i believe is due to his chakra reserves getting depleted. i mena he was near death but controlled it(by minato) and now absorbs juubi.

so does reviving a single person equal reviving a whole village thus implying death in both cases?

Probably not.
Its most likely you get the ability to revive as many people as your body can handle or some shizzz

We don't know, the manga hasn't given any information that could be used to answer this question.

For now Rinne-tensei is a kinjutsu thus so kills the user, who at the moment can revive as much people as he wants.

nope ...it depends upon user's physical energy (life force)higher the physical energy higher the chance of surviving after using RT ..
nagato was uzumaki shinobi who had huge life force(as stated by madara n zetsu) than uchiha obito ..thats hw he managed to bring back entire village

The best answer is that people who have died for a longer period of time take up more chakra to revive, since konoha ninja died recently then nagato was able to bring them all back, but someone like jirayia or madara who have been dead for a while would take more out of the user.

Nagato says "there's still time to save the ones I killed from konoha" Indicating that at a specific period of time where those who died would no longer be available to him, he didnt plan on dying until he used that jutsu so this implies that there is a time until limit until the souls become harder to "bring back".

actually i think he meant he still had strength to bring those dead ones ...not about time IMO...

Then why not jiraiya? What's 1 more soul if he cant revive the potential hundreds he's already killed. Besides, what's 1 fodder to his previous sensei who he murdered?

PLOT NO JUTSU ...m saying it because madara was almost revived until minato stopped it ...going by ur logic madara can't be revived at all ...isn't it??

maybe you're right, who died recently is much easier to bring him back to life and you still have chance to be alive. But if you use rinne tensei on someone who is died long ago there is no doubt you will die

No see because madara is 1 person, my logic is suggesting that 1 dead person from 100 years ago = 100 dead people from 1 hour ago, give or take a few obviously but the concept is still there. So obito would've killed himself reviving a man who would be nothing but bones otherwise .

i think if you revive a single or whole village, its the same.!!
after using it, the user dies.!!
otherwise nagato wud have revived yahiko.!!

but during the pain vs naruto arc(in anime, dont know about manga) konan says with this chakra level if nagato uses rinnei tensei he wud....

so in confused.!!

:shy:

Its possible that nagato just didnt know of rinne tensei at that point, its a kinjutsu after all, so I see obito being the one to tell him about it

This seems likely.

In the anime, it seemed as if Nagato was just returning the dead bodies their soul he had taken.
Thats what it seemed to me.

OT: i think its a justu that takes the user's life. Just guessing. :)
