Does "chakra control" actually matter?

I've seen some people say that it's amazing how Sakura has top tier chakra control in the manga.

My question is, does this category actually matter?

To me, it doesn't matter at all because being good at chakra control doesn't change the fact that Sakura still gets soloed by 95% of the verse.

Over all it does actually matter; tho Sakura does really show that through her medical skills, as medical ninjutsu requires great chakra control.

So does itachi, Neji, Hinata, sasuke, Ino, Naruto, and kurenai.
Genjutsu and sensing requires excellent chakra control

Plus, the hyugas basically rely solely on their good CC for their fighting style

Hinata uses Gentle Fist Style

"chakra control" is meaningless unless the character put's it to good use/using effective powerful jutsu.

in Sakura's case, it can only mean that the character has the potential/capacity to become a strong shinobi (after she learns/uses actual offensive Jutsu).

Chakra control lets you use jutsu without wasting chakra.

Having powerful chakra lets you use strong jutsu with out using a lot of chakra. i.e The Uchiha clan have powerful chakra so they use less chakra for powerful jutsu.
The senju clan have a lot of chakra which is not as powerful the Uchiha clan. So they need more chakra to use powerful jutsu.

If you have good chakra control, you can see the quality of your Justus.

Good control usually helps balance a good minimum of stamina and little amount of chakra to use an effective Justu.
