It's not neji dying that made it so emotional, it's that's Narutos will is almost broken watching his friends die all around him. His words being spit back in his face by obito....it was a very moving episode.

The only anime that was able to bring me to tears was Mirai Nikki, so tragic ;3
OT: No, i didn't. Neji's death was rushed, it didn't even like feel that Neji mattered, he just died lol.

I did shed a tear... or two.
I found the scene to have been quite well-done with all the voice actors being superb. I hade goosebumps when Naruto asked Neji why he did all this, the crack in his voice was so natural and true... Obito's voice actor also did a hell of a job with that little speech... + on top of everything one of my favorite soundtracks - Man of The World was used as a theme...
All in all, this episode and that death scene surely sent me on the feels trip.

Listen no matter how many fillers they would try to include the result would still be the same and that's because his death would be too violent for kids who watch it so they would censure it either way. But yeah, it did suck.

Yeah, Obito's voice was very well done, and his " all of your friends will die " speech was the best thing in the episode.

Yeah butleast they should prolong Neji fight scene and his buildups, we barely see him do anything in this war and he doesn't deserve to die like that if he's been neglescted what's the point of it?? Any relavent characters are the one that we should shed tears not irrelavent one that got trolled and was misplaced like neji.

I cried with Shukau's and the team'a death. The reactions from Shikamaru and Ino got me.

Neji's death was sad too. It's a pointless death and had no lead up and was out of nowhere and isn't really focused on, but it was sad.

Being a manga reader it was impossible to feel anything but pity for Neji's character and fans.

Died for a pairing moment. Lame. as. ****.

Died the way he was destined to anyway. Just willingly did it himself instead.

It was a GG though.
