Does anyone else feel as if naruto is still too immature/naive?

He's a retard what do you expect. He doesn't know how to run a village, if he becomes Hokage hopefully Shikamaru and Kakashi make all the decisions and just let Naruto fight the opponents

Naruto is not immature at all, even when he was 13 he showed a few of maturity moments like when he sympathized with Gaara and understood his pain instead of just kicking his ass, he has always shown a great insight when it comes to other person's feelings and suffering.

It sometimes seems like most people wants Naruto to give up and wants Madara and Obito to win. Saying that Naruto is still immature and naïve. Why does he have to listen to them? Their lives are screwed up because of the paths they chose and Naruto chooses it differently.
Just because he said he wasn't going to let his friends die doesn't mean he is naïve. Even though he couldn't save Neji, if he had thought differently up to now, the alliance would've been screwed because it is Naruto that's giving them hope...

I meant he is cocky in the sense that he picks fun at Obito/Madara, if there was enemy standing in front of me with a beast that could destroy the world i wouldn't dare do that.

completely agreed but i think this war may take alway his naivety, he's already starting to realize that he can't save everyone. he'll grow and mature with time the kid's only 16.

Well those are flaws, and flawed characters will always, ALWAYS be better and more interesting then perfect characters. I can respect that he's a flawed character, however that doesn't change the fact that I think he's one the most annoying main protagonists in Shounen.
