Does anyone else feel as if naruto is still too immature/naive?

I know he has matured since he fought pain, but he still doesn't seem mature enough to me yet. He jumps into situations Way to quickly and still has that cocky sense to him. Don't get me wrong, i love the character of Naruto himself, but I believe he still has some growing up to do!

Like he has a choice and how is he cocky?

It sometimes seems like most people wants Naruto to give up and wants Madara and Obito to win. Saying that Naruto is still immature and naïve. Why does he have to listen to them? Their lives are screwed up because of the paths they chose and Naruto chooses it differently.
Just because he said he wasn't going to let his friends die doesn't mean he is naïve. Even though he couldn't save Neji, if he had thought differently up to now, the alliance would've been screwed because it is Naruto that's giving them hope...
