Where was this village the village hidden in riddles?

It's a fictional village from jiraiya's book
but if u wna knw, as u can see on the first page; someones holding 2 balls... those 2 balls were crushed by the end of the book... Those balls are that riddle villages balls... and u might also know that a man can't survive when his balls r crushed

I think for all intensive purposes, when Minato was reading the book, he didn't assign any village to the "Evil" shinobi. That would make him look bad by transitive properties, and as we all KNOW, Minato is far from bad.
The question mark is a symbol used so that no particular village has the onus of the ninja's crime in Jiraiya's book. It could have been someone from any of the villages.
And by this, I mean there is no "village hidden in riddles". Hope that cleared things up for you.

its called the mystery ninja. why is he called the mystery ninja? well he is supposed to be the main villian of course to the main character of the story.
thats why there is a question mark on the village headband. there are different villages so there is a chance of many villians and villages that a person can come from.
Kabuto - Sound village (when the invasion happened kakashi vs kabuto), Leaf Village. (during the written exams) i believe. thats why there is a question mark.
