Do you think the names used in Animes Are?

Common or regular names used with the Japanese such how Americans have names such as: John.

Maybe their just ordinary names to them.

Depends on the anime. More fantasy type anime go out of the norm, but anime with more realistic settings tend to use regular names.

Many of them are actually real Japanese names, Especially the animes that are based on samurai.

in anime like naruto, fairy tail and one piece.. no way xD you won't see a Japanese person named kakashi, kiba or tenten xD
in some anime they do use real names like in Nana or Wake Up Girls

But as for names based on themes like how a lot of characters in DBZ are named, I dont think those are common lol
