When he said that Sasuke wasnt able to see through Itachis illusions? I think he was talking about Itachis lies, and his false motives. Sasuke was sure that Itachi was mad killer, when in reality he wasnt. Thats how I understand Obitos words.

No I think itachi would still win because Itachi is used to his MS, Sasuke on the other hand was already going blind because of how much he used his MS and he is bearly used to MS let alone EMS he has a way to go to be on par with itachi.

Im not sure why what this has to do with anything because the title says has sasuke surpassed itachi. Seems like either i dont get the point of the thread or this is a vs thread in disguise. Just to have a bit of fun I hope you know that sasuke has always had better stamina than itachi, funny enough he run out of chakra before itachi. One kept susano active, the other's chakra was so low that the reserves that was needed to suppress orochimaru wasnt enough and in the end that snake showed his face. That is when sasuke run out of chakra, when orochimaru appeared, itachi however still had enough for susano. The person with a higher stamina got outlasted, due to chakra control which is derived from skill. Sasuke can control amaterasu, but what is the use when your opponent can extinguish it
Instead of people saying, sasuke broke tsukuyomi, or he has a greater stamina perhaps in order to look into it we should look at them individually rather than trying to turn this into a vs thread. When we look at their ms abilities/uchiha based techniques the gap between the two is wide, with sasuke only having amaterasu over itachi.
To surpass; "To be superior to in achievement or excellence" OR "To be or go beyond, as in degree or quality; exceed".

Sasuke already outclassed Itachi in ninjutsu in their fight, Itachi had to resort to amaterasu as he couldn't handle Sasuke's Katon.
As far as genjutsu goes Itachi is superior, however due to the sharringan and superior eyes Sasuke can break through all his visual genjutsu. He already broke through Itachi's tsukuyomi with just ems, before you say Itachi let that happen read what the
Taijutsu and regular weapon mastery would be in Itachi's favour however most of that is now redundant thanks to susanoo.
I've mention tsukuyomi, Sasuke is superior with amaterasu which I find more deadly and there's a good chance he can fling Itachi's amaterasu off him as he's now able to freely control it or he could use another shed skin substitution.
Due to Sasuke's stamina he could outlast Itachi in Susanoo. Itachi has totsuku blade whilst Sasuke has Amaterasu blade so they can both take each other out.

I know its a one shot kill but the flames burn slowly and itachi can use his susanoo to avoide sasuke's Amaterasu

Well once again. A fight is not based upon who has the best weapon. It is the one who uses his weapons best that wins a fight. And Itachi has his cool and inspects the situation and comes up with a strategy. Sasuke wouldn't win against Itachi that i am quite sure of, tho i think Sasuke will surpass him eventually.
But because Sasuke has EMS doesn't mean he has surpassed Itachi. So basically, Itachi is more intelligent than Sasuke is so therefore Itachi probably would win.

In terms of power i think sasuke has already surpassed itachi
although i dont like sasuke i have to admit that in points of power he is already stronger than itachi
the enternal mangekyo sharingan is the reason why

Do I think that Sasuke has surpassed Itachi? With EMS, probably yes, but I really don't care about that because Itachi will always be more badass than Sasuke. A lot more!
