I didn't want to make a new thread about this so I'll just continue this discussion on because it would be a nice twist to the plot/series.

Shanks could be using Luffy and he may of let that sea king eat his arm on purpose to gain Luffy's trust/friendship.

Luffy would probably fight his last battle with Shanks, for returning Shanks his strawhat.. after that Shank will retire with being a Yonko.. he will be challenged by Luffy, but he isn't a villain for Luffy.
