This is an interesting one because while Itachi is being the "hero" here wanting to remain loyal to the village, he is ignoring the fact that it's his very own brother who STILL wants to destroy it. Itachi respects Naruto so much, yet he continues to treat Sasuke like...well a nonsense really. Not only does Itachi not talk to him and take full responsibility for the Sasuke he sees in front of him, but he also refuses to acknowledge anything. A simple "Sasuke I know I screwed up, but I love you," could have made all the difference. Some kind of brotherly bind here. So I think Sasuke will be jealous (for a very valid reason) and show no mercy towards Naruto. I feel then Itachi's plan of Naruto "saving" Sasuke is going to back fire. As much as I enjoy the Uchiha brothers, I was disapointed in Itachi's actions. Point being it is going to make Sasuke upset. Although on a lighter note, I don't know if anyone noticed, when Itachi mentions Naruto, Sasuke did not twitch with anger like he usually does (it is in the manga of course).
