It is leading towards that moment. It would be epic if Sasuke would put his emotions towards Naruto at bay, than he beats Madara with Naruto's help. Making Sasuke tell Naruto this isn't over!

Of course. But I don't really think he will hate Naruto and badly will kill him because of it. He might think like this "why does my nii-san entrusted many things to Naruto? What's so special about Naruto? What actually is happening? I've to understand the actual situation to get the answer". He'll be a little bit emo, darkness stuff, merciless but I believe,he wants to know and understand his brother's intention for entrusting Naruto. I highly doubt he will be crazy and insane like how he was before.

Because Itachi entrusted Naruto with many things. Sasuke wants respect from Itachi. Now that he sees that Itachi talked good about Naruto. He should be feeling ashamed or mad. So he could take that anger towards Naruto or realize that his path is what made him lose his brother's interest.

Well it's not like Itachi does not care bout Sasuke's path anymore, just he feels like Naruto is more suitable for the job.
Overall I agree with ya. He not only talked good bout Naruto, but also entrusted him important things, meaning that he respect and believes in Naruto strength. How could Sasuke feel if Itachi said that he was the one who underestimated Sasuke the most?
