Yeah I mean Kishimoto would just drag it to worse spot.

This manga started off great but ended bad. Even now the story-lines are more parental than shinobi, and it can only get worse. Plus the series would just end with another group of new generation shinobi and families/pairings....

What's the point of recycling?

Yeah I know . I heard that before. But he start it with the introduction of BoG and the rest is right now. I can see something similar happen to Naruto where Kishi announce the new Naruto series(continuation) before he hand/pass all the future work to other author.

Kishi is making it worse.He hyped up boruto's potential by calling him prodigy and announcing that boruto will surpass his father but later on he presented him as a cheater.

Kishi brought up the worst asspull in the histroy of the manga by making madara fodderized by BZ

I agree. I enjoyed Naruto when it was great but it shouldn't have even been that long--much less being even longer than it already is. People should let the series rest.

Kishi should have shaved it down, stretched out the Naruto/Sasuke Vote 2 fight & made Kaguya a non-entity

I sure hope it's over. Kishi's writing degraded to Kaguya and Gaiden and I never want to revisit stuff like that. He also has the tendency to hype sh*t up but when it's time to deliver he slaps us in the face.

Rather than a direct continuation, would be great a spin off about Minato times, following Kushina, Yondaime, Mikoto and Fugaku life as ninjas. Their school times, the training of Obito, Kakashi and Rin, from the point of view of Yondaime; the insides of the revolution planning by the Uchihas, until the Kyuubi attack. Would be really interesting.

I would also like a spin off about the warring states times, portraying the life of the Madara, Izuma, Hashirama and Tobirama. Featuring their childhood, the clans war, until de Konoha fundation.

Dont care if another author to draw and develop the story, he may do it better than Kishimito. And dont need to be now, but maybe in years.

What do you mean with anime filler? :'( These are all in the manga, right?


Anyway, the era of Hashirama and Madara is much more interesting and dramatic than that of Naruto. At that time everybody were fighting each other, and propably there were epic dramas and battles. Theresmany things that can be done in the plot, and many characters to be explored at that time. Like Mito, the older brothers of Madara, Oonoki, the shinobi mentality at that time, and so on ...

Hashirama, Madara, Izuma, Mikoto in my opinion, doesn't have such a definite personality, it would be nice flow their characters. And characters like Kushina, Obito, Kakashi and Rin are more interesting and charismatic than their respective counterparts, Sakura, Sasuke etc... And would be interesting follow the third shinobi war in deph.


Not showing these characters and episodes is not a plot hole. But If anything in Naruto were done now, I think these respective stories has more potential than the lifes of Sarada, Boruto, and their family dramas.

So that's why spin offs is the best idea, and preferably the author not being Kishimoto, since he is sick of Naruto, and would just write shit. It's not impossible, others have already made spin offs with different mangakas, and some were even better than the original series. See Lost canvas, of saint seiya, for example.
The idea is long prequels in similar pattern, but of course, but not so long than Naruto. Just complementary stories.
