i feel kishi doesnt have any new ideas so if he came back it wouldnt be until a while later, unless he did a gaiden of like jiraiya or someone when they were younger.
He could have gone either with forget the older generation focus on the new one and create average villains who would be difficult for boruto and his new group and we could watch them grow, or he could have gone with focus still on naruto which he did so we just have lame villains from kaguya's clan.
id hope if he came back it would be new fresh ideas not recycling old storylines with children who are clones of their parents.

No I don't think so Minamoto-san an I'll explain.
There would be no reason to create a new gen if he's just going to throw them in a file cabinet in a corner and call it quits. A time off is well deserved for the guy and he has plenty of material that's probably still not out yet so he should be able to chill for a few years an still cash in.
Money always brings them back, an now he has characters that people have gotten use to just like Toriyama.
