The hype he gave to Itachi wasn't as good as people think, BZ said Itachi was invincible when he was talking about the spirit weapons, that means Itachi while using Yata and Totsuka is invincible, which is true, too bad he can only use them for like 1 minute

I think Kishi paints Itachi in an "invincible" light, just to show that no matter how much power you have you can't do everything on your own. No matter how great you are, you're doomed to fail if you refuse help. So yes, I think Kishi intentionally made Itachi seem invincible to drive this point.

I think Itachi is pretty filthy character possibly one of the best in the series, but i don't worship him to the point where he can beat anybody, sure if he is matched up against somebody who he annihilates, but he does have his limits.

I don't think he was planning on making Itachi a double agent in part 1. That was his mistake. He made Itachi look too much like a criminal for a lot of people to be won over by his sudden benignity in part 2.
