Izanami isn't a jutsu that Itachi can use on just any opponent. It only works on certain types of people making it useless in most fights.

I don't think we know enough about Tobirama's abilities to make a valid comparison. I'm undecided for now. Hopefully we'll see Tobirama fight sometime.

True, but Tobirama is as cautious as Danzo when it comes to Uchiha, his fear of Madara will keep him on his toes, it depends on if he can avoid the opening genjutsu of Itachi, but if he can it's strongly in his favor

I see no hope for Itachi once the area is flooded and suiton clones are running amok, and doesn't he also have a s/t tech? Tobirama even with what little info we do have on him stands a fair chance

Since you chose Non Edo Itachi, he would die in Susano'o if he is in there for 10 minutes. MS Techs tire him out VERY easy.

Tobirama wont live long enough to waste even 10% of his chakra.
FTG slash? What it does? Not even confirmed S/T and does it beat susanoo?
Bringer of darkness? Not canon, but at any rate u wont put itachi under genjutsu by something like that, while tobi is raped by tsukuyomi in 1st second.
Suiton user? Good he can wash susanoo after it get dirty with some of tobiramas blood!

Does the manga support it? No.

From what we know about Tobirama...
* Created Edo Tensei
* Expert Sensor
* Mastery over suiton
* Sword of the Thunder God (to complement his ninjutsu)
* Bringer Of Darkness (indicates he had above average genjutsu)
* Frightening chakra pool

I personally think he could fodderize Itachi, but the manga just doesn't support it yet. We have yet to see the real Tobirama in action.

So far tobirama doesnt impress me the slightest, he got owned by some 20 ninjas that couple of akatsuki could survive.
Itachi at right scenario can even take on hashirama yet alone much weaker tobirama.

We don't know the situation exactly, but he had the 2nd Raikage with him as well. The ninja who attacked them were clearly powerful... Who's not to say Itachi wouldn't have died in the same situation? We simply do not know.

True, but im just showing his realistic power lvl. Many akatsuki could have dealt better then tobirama, in same situation.
And 1vs1 uchihas simply better as they are well rounded. Hardly tobirama would beat itachi, but he can have more credit for overall battle endurance in war for example.

No you were right, based off of what we've seen, Itachi would wreck Tobirama. Other way around hype wise though.
