The is some truth to this. I do think that it'll probably be Sasuke who would defeat Madara at the end. There is a strong possibility as both Tobirama and Orochimaru claimed that he'll surpass Madara. Perhaps it was more than just a metaphor for the past. Let's see how this plays out.

You had the right thought, but came up with the wrong conclusion.

As someone who have been debating with all the Sasuketard for a long time, I have come to understand that they never read the manga and they seems to forget that when you read, you need to reflect on the lines and draw a valid conclusion. Thus, they keep saying Sasuke and Naruto have the same or equivalent power.

However, as you probably thought, looking at current Naruto and Sasuke seems to suggest Naruto did not really get anything from Rikudo. Well, this should not be what you should think. Rather, you should ask why it seems Naruto got nothing, then, you will have a few answers among which:

(1) Naruto always have been too powerful than Sasuke. Comparing Naruto and Sasuke is the same as comparing the USA and France (or UK). Sure, the Uchiha is powerful, but Naruto is more than a Senju, and the later was already as powerful if not more than the Uchiha.

(2) Naruto is the hero. This means everything - that is the hero always shines where all hope is gone


The above are the two main thoughts. Naruto always had everything Rikudo could give him. Thus, the only thing he really needed from meeting Rikudo was wisdom and maturity. And as a matter of fact, his talk with Rikudo gave him a half of something he never had - that is his identity and how he fits in the Uchiha vs Senju conflict. Next, he perfected the Senjutsu and recovers all the bijus. However, read the last chapter again, and you will see something Sasuke ask Naruto. Sasuke ask him if he remembered the Jutsus Rikudo gave him.

This jutsu is yet to be seen and it tells you that Naruto is the one who will finish Madara because Naruto is the one who has the sealing.
