If we are talking about femnism in the eastern world then I say it may be a good idea.
In the western world however: Heck no. Legally speaking men and women are equal. It feels as if modern day western feminism is about female supremarcy rather then equality and I am against thta.

If it pushes for equality amongst the sexes then sure. Although I always have trouble with feminist who seem to go to extremes for "equality". My last English (I'm nearly positive she was feminist) marked my paper down because I used a non "gender friendly" term of "mankind", while I assume people and/or society would've been more "gender friendly.... either way it seems to aim for something desirable but some of the members' actions are counter productive imo.

One of the goals of true feminism is to stop this as well. This is why I dislike the name feminism, it implies that the movement if focused on solely the advancement and betterment of women, it makes it seem like the movement is just about bring women higher. While that is a focus, true feminists look at that video with the same disgust you do, true feminists want a world where a woman who attacks a man is treated the same as a man who attacks a woman, where people will arrest her and intervene and punish her, rather than laughing at the man.
