He's the one who summoned Madara, afterall. Maybe he has some unfinished business..
Does he still have some significance in the plot, at the least?

If it is not him, who else could it be? I can think of no one else. Im sure everyone does too.

Because it sucks if he's there just to heal Sasuke.
There's definitely more for Kabuto.

I think Yamato is the Spiral Zetsu. Who knows. And Izuna, I dont think so. He's long dead so...

Karin, Suigetsu or Juugo.

Its Kabuto, obviously, since Kabuto was never killed, and can end Izanami, the chances of him going to the battlefield are very high *gets owned next chapter when they reveal its someone else*

The only people that could potentially heal sasuke in the form he is currently in is:

Kabuto, karin, Juugo, a zetsu, or bee (bee using samehada to heal). Anyone else capable of healing him is either healing someone, else, out of chakra, or impaled with black rods.

We see Karin and juugo in this chapter, so it is probably not them. But then again juugo could have left a clone to help karin and them and went to save sasuke in his actual body. But if this happened karin would sense how close juugo and sasuke are together and know there is nothing to worry about. so most likely not them.

A zetsu could heal sasuke with zetsu goo, but does it really have a reason to?

Bee could heal sasuke with samehada's healing capabilities (as shown when it healed kisame's chest). But Bee's foot isn't white.

That really leaves kabuto as the only choice, who if he broke out of izanami may become a healer for the alliance.

Out of these, the most likely is probably kabuto.

If it is anyone else and they can save Sasuke, then damn nice twist gj.
