Do you like the SW prequels?

I agree they are the best ones and the prequels were very different so I get how people can dislike them, I was a bit disappointed when I saw phantom menace even though I was a kid.

They've got an engaging story and worldbuilding, but the execution is a bit average, particularly Anakin x Padme. I really like Revenge of the Sith tho. One thing that's certain is that the meme force is strong with the prequels.

The impression I get is that in addition to the qualities of the prequels themselves, people also hate them because they somehow "ruined" their nostalgia for the original trilogy, such as that midichlorian thing.

Ok I disagree, I like the special effects and other elements of them but I think the classics are the best ones.

the prequels are what got me into SW, despite the somewhat cheesy execution of certain lines. The fight scenes and storyline were just hands down better than the original trilogy imo

I'll start off by saying that ep 3 might be my favorite movie from the series. With that said I do think the prequels, at least 1 and 2 definitely are a notch below the originals but they are definitely not as terrible as people make it out. IMO George had a great idea for what the prequels should be about but the execution was lacking. If you make a few tweaks to the casting and plot I think the prequels could easily be viewed in a better light and seen as nice complementary films to the originals

I think they are pretty good, don't really understand all the hate the prequels get. ROTS is actually my favourite movie of the entire series.
