But I hate how sometimes the writer doesn't do her character justice, like in the GM games she got beat twice in a pretty bad way... I mean you could have given those defeats to Erza provided she was in a really bad shape and I would have been fine but why always make Lucy the butt of their jokes :dafuq:

I wish she would strengthen her combat skills and show more leadership qualities cos that's vital as a celestial wizard in my opinion.... Too many walk over her like Aquarious and even Leo!!!

All in all: Lovely, sweet, funny, boing girl with variety if used well badass powers with a little tweaking needed but hey that's what character development is there for!!!

I you just plainly said you didnt loke her I wouldnt mind but you cant say she does nothing, just because a character isnt strong (fyi Lucy is strong) doesnt men he/she is useless

Lucy is an awesome character and didn't find that it was all bad during the GMG. She showed her strength against Flare and did well in the Naval battle until Minerva showed up. During her battle with Flare she was cheated and after that her next fight was with Minerva the 4th strongest mage in the whole GMG. This means if Lucy beat Minerva than she would have been in Erza's league and stronger than all of the Sabortooth members which would have made Fairy Tail OP.

Also Erza is suppose to be stronger than Lucy because she is S class and close to Wizard saint Level but that doesn't mean Lucy is weak. If Lucy came into the guild on Erza's level than Nastu, Gray and Erza wouldn't get all the fights they wanted too. She is the type of character who is useful when needed but doesn't just jump into action for the fun.

Lucy has had about 10 fights in the whole series or 11 if you count Leo vs Capricorn too but most won't.

Lucy vs Duke Everlue: Lucy won low difficulty
Lucy vs Sherry: Lucy won mid difficulty
Lucy vs Minor dark guild: Won Low difficulty
Lucy vs Bicklow: Won mid difficulty
Lucy vs Angel: Won high difficulty
Lucy vs Edolas warriors: Low beat them Low difficulty
Lucy vs Byro: Won low difficulty
Lucy vs Kain: Won high difficulty with help from Natsu
Lucy vs Flare: Won low-mid difficulty(Actually lost but was cheated)
Lucy vs Minerva: Lost badly
Lucy vs Sokue: Won low difficulty

Honestly When ever Lucy faces someone who isn't extremely powerful than she wins with little effort. Only people in the series she has had problems with is Minerva, Kain and Angel. She only lost to Minerva(And Flare). Only reason she Had a hard time against Angel was because Gemini was Using Lucy and Angels spirits against her(Bad matchup). Only people she has problems with is the members of a powerful dark guild or the strongest Member of Sabortooth, which by all means isn't horrible given her experience and newbie status.

^^ This is just part of her she also has an awesome personality and Magic. Plus she is pretty and smart.

Yes, I do. She has had enough relevance in the story as a female character in comparison to the way Naruto females are treated.

Lucy doesn't join = phantom doesn't attack = Gajeel and Juvia never join = in Edolas with no Lucy and no Gajeel noone can use magic = the entire FT guild dies
