Do you like games with or without plot?

I personally enjoy games with plot because that's where some or most of its rating's comes from. CoD and most other FPS were horrible with plot and were mostly focused on the gameplay...which is why this gives one reason for it to suck.
(MY OPINION)


NUNS3 and the other Naruto franchise games were always focused on the plot which gave me a huge relief to rate it 10/10 (But it still needs some patches)

Fact: Most anime games are better because it has more focus on the plot then the actual gameplay


What about you guys? Do you guys like games with or without plot?

I love games with plot. Like Kotor and Dragon Age: Origins. There a lot of plot twists in those games.

All I need is something to smash about, shoot, fight..
But eventually all the games have some plot...xd
But again if the level is too difficult for me.. say I can't finis it even in about 20-30 times of playing it, I'll lose my interest in the game...xd

Plot is essential in any story!!! That's why CoD has gone downhill...Call of Duty 4 was an all new plot, and then with Black Ops and the other Modern Warefares ended up with a less compelling, and what felt like a repeated or cheaper storyline!

Story is also a reason why games like Gears of War, Halo, Mortal Kombat, Hitman, Dishonored, and Assassin's Creed are brilliant!

Uhhh it needs to be a balance of interesting plot and solid gameplay. But I often find that if the plot is good enough I can overlook some poorly designed gameplay elements more easily than I can overlook a stupid plot even if the gameplay is good.

I like games with plot (old Bioware games especially and the Bioshock games)

But I also don´t mind games with forgettable plots like the Ninja Gaiden reboot for the original xbox; the incredible gameplay is what makes it amazing.

Hmm... I like CoD which has no plot but a great MP mode and a fun zombies mode, but then again i love assassins creed which has a great plot and story mode but boring MP. I think it just depends on the game.
