Do you guys thinik tobi/Madara is the true meaning of immortality ?

I keep looking at the situation of tobi and it seems he may have reached immortality it or maybe he hasn't what do you think ?

I don't think so, unless something else happens to prove otherwise then he is really just taking other body parts and replacing them like Kakuzu. That isn't true immortality, only Hidan and Oro really have true immortality. Oro because he could survive in his snake form without taking another body and he could regenerate.

Tobi is mmortal in a way but I think Zetsu plays a huge role in his immortality.

If he has the power of the 1st hokage cells which is growth it seems he ca easily replace his limbs to seen with the fuu and torune fight where he lost an arm and the next chapter has a new one.

Immortality has several meanings. Hidan and Sasori were immortal in a different way than Orochimaru.

the thing is if zetsu aids him in immortality what is tobi completely
he has no problem showing his face to allies he trust (don't know if kabuto saw whats under the mask)
could he be another part of zetsu because the main question is where tobi and zetsu formed this friendship from?it not like anyone see zetsu he's one of a kind.

He's not immortal. I just think that he found a way to slow down the aging process. Hidan was in my eyes, the only one that was a true immortal! He's alive right now rotting at the bottom of somebodies pit!! It only takes somebody to reunite his body for him to be an active character again. As for Madara, It's all about tricks and if anything the guys only about 85yrs old... That's it!!! That's does not make him an immortal...

Immortality has several meanings. Hidan and Sasori were immortal in a different way than Orochimaru.

Immortal: undying, imperishable, lasting forever, having unlimited, or eternal, existance.

As for Sasori.... Okay, He might have been an immortal becasuse he found a way to preserve his life force and retain most of his memories if not all. But there's no way to tell.... He himself was still within his normal life span...
He just transferred out of his body. Orochimaru never reached immortality because his process was still incomplete and he knew this. That's one for the reasons why he continued his research and experiments...

I think that Hidan had to keep doing the ritual to be immortal. Kakuzu once asked that why he always have to do the ritual and Hidan said that he hates it, but he has to do it.
