[Debate] do you feel sympathy for psychopaths ?

Wow, this question englobes a large plethora of cases.
Depends a lot on the background, crime commited (if any crime happened), personality and way of thinking.

Personality disorders are not my area but I believe (at least in checklist on DSM-IV) that psychopaths are believed to have a genetic component to their disorder and sociopaths rise from their environment. I could totally be wrong about this though.

You're right about that. Though they are basically the same thing.
