Just like the title says , do you feel sympathy for psychopaths in general weather they committed crime/murder or they didn't . I am very curious about how people perceive them.

Personally i don't feel sympathy for them but i do think they have their excuse or circumstance which leads them to do whatever they do or act how they act.

Depends on the backstory. If something happened that broke them then I might feel sympathy

No their not remorseful. If they have a sickness which needs medical attention and cannot get the proper help needed then maybe I will but usually no. I see psychopaths and rapist as the same

No TC I don't feel sorry for obito he murdered his own clan, killed millions of people, manipulated innocents, etc all because his 13-14 year old crush died despite being like 38? Of course I don't feel sorry for him but I'm glad he changed his mind...by getting TNJ'd by Naruto

If you are clinically diagnosed as a psychopath, then it is a personality disorder. Considering we don't have a complete and accurate understanding of what causes mental disorders, you cannot truly place blame on the individual. Someone who chooses to commit a crime by their own free will is different than someone who commits a crime as a result of some maladaptive mental functioning. I do sympathize with anyone who suffers from any type of disorder whether mental, physical, or emotional.

exactly mate

difference is psychopaths aren't always criminals or murderers just because you are a psychopaths doesn't mean you commit crime where as that's not the case with rapists psychopaths they can't feel remorse because most of they time they weren't given any attention or care or were abused and that's why when they grow up they don't feel any remorse

Depends on the backstory. If something happened that broke them then I might feel sympathy

well people dont just become psychopaths neither do they get born that way most of the time its the way they were brought up or something that happened to them that changes them

From how i see it.
Psychopaths just need a Tender Buttseks session.

they have the most chances of being cured when they are young

"Psycopaths rule the world" huh

i agree with what you said although they still don't have an accurate understanding of what causes it studies have showen that you aren't born psychopaths usually something that happens to you triggers it ex. parents abuse, bullying , sexual abuse etc... that's why they stop feeling empathy because they stop knowing what the feeling is when they are young usually they start out by tortchering animals to let out there anger and evolve into worst stuff

Personality disorders are not my area but I believe (at least in checklist on DSM-IV) that psychopaths are believed to have a genetic component to their disorder and sociopaths rise from their environment. I could totally be wrong about this though.

well its not quiet proven yet there's lots of theories and debates between nurture vs nature(google it for more info) nurture is where some doctors say they are how they are due to the environment they were brought up in where as nature is when doctors say they are born that way due to genetics but neither of em have been confirmed so i was going with what i believe makes more sense which is nurture so no technically you weren't wrong

Just imagine how it is to be a psychopath hearing voices or imagining things 24/7 and you will sympathize with them too.

The ones that commit crimes are technically not the ones to be blamed, it's their environment that should have taken actions so that they were taken care of. Psychopaths don't kill based on logic, that's why they appear to be so ruthless.

Of course as with anything else in psychology, this isn't black and white, there are "levels".
