Do you consider the additions in the anime fight to be canon?

That's not how it works, what's in the manga is canon, what isn't in the manga isn't canon until Kishimoto says it is.
That fight isn't cannon yet, like Ashura's 3 children aren't cannon.

Does ashura having 3 children contradict anything? No...

Those episodes weren't fillers, they were canon, so IMO everything that happened in these episodes, should be considered canon aswell.

There's no harm in thinking it's cannon

I consider it canon. I'm sure Kishi would have added a lot more to the fight in the manga if he didn't have the 700 Chapter deadline

Hopefully canon, that way it makes Naruto look hella better. Not only did he beat Sasuke in the Manga, but he also beat a less nerfed Sasuke in the anime, while Naruto himself remaining fully nerfed.

It is filler (if we go by the filler definition of not being in the manga) but such epicness combined feels like it is canon. Damn, I take it as canon, feels like the right thing to do.

We aren't talking about stuff like Zero tails or that Indra and Ashura ****ery.

I can't really understand how someone that loves this series is able to nitpick this fight, just consider it canon because it will be hard to ignore that this fight and everything in it happened.
