There's a rather peculiar aspect about believing in God, namely the fact that at some point, it becomes certitude, something you live with. It's haunted by doubt every now and then, but that's normal. The thing is, you live day by day with the unconscious feeling that there's someone out there who watches.
And the reason I'm saying this, is to justify why religious people can get offended by the sole rejection of God's existence, even as humble opinion, because after all it denies their very lifestyle. It may not seem fair-play to atheists, but after all, the nothing you believe in is not really so important to you, and therefore, having your belief contested is not at all offending. My whole point is that people have yet to acknowledge this and stop making retarded threads to stir conflict, it's a point I've been trying to make on NB for about 2 years.
