Well, all I can say is that I believe we definitely have a creator, someone created us, weather it'd be God or Aliens, who knows! But one thing is for sure, whoever created us has no interest in interfering with what we are doing, we're more like a culture in a Petri dish I think. Think about this though, if the universe is infinite, then wouldn't there be infinite possibilities?
Anyway, I believe in a higher power, I just think either they are unaware of their creating us (ex. We could be shadows of a higher dimensional being), Or they just don't care. Now I won't say religion or God is moot, b/c the whole religion aspect was just a means of control, or a way to maintain order imo. Religion provides a sort of guidance and gives people meaning in life.
One last thing, the bible is a set of rules made for people to follow right? What if that's what are laws of today really correlate too? The Bible May just be the old school laws? Not a good thought out theory, but that's just theory...
