You were very shallow about your concept of god. What do you mean by god? The christian God? God, the creator(a being) of the universe?

I believe in the concept of the Catholic God, but I don't believe in everything in the bible, just in the messages that are good for society.
I also believe in oparin's theory of origin of life, and in the theory of the big bang.
I believe that God created the conditions for the universe to exist.

If you want to make an informed decision then read your bible and study. That's how you get to learn about your creator. Just like you gained info from school you must gain info about God before deciding your faith or lack thereof.

I knew the point of your thread was to insult catholic people. Let me just write here the same thing that I wrote in the last thread.

"We know so little about the origin of life and of the universe. The theories we currently have have little evidence to be considered truth(except for evolution, which has many evidences).

So, as this is what we currently have, people can believe in whatever they want. What matters is if the person doesn't let his/her beliefs harm his learning, and if he accept the current knowledge despite his opinions.

If the person believes in something, but he/she still studies and open his/her mind for the knowledge we currently have, then the person is not dumb. If the person is willing to learn despite the beliefs, he/she is not ignorant at all.
