Do you believe in ghosts?

A woman in white? Reminds me of my encounter, except I don't know if it was a ghost. I was crying and mourning over my cat's death and I felt a cold feeling on my cheek, and when I looked up, I saw a woman in a white dress disappear into the darkness of my room.

I do, yet don't. It's really complicated for me. I know that 99% of the shows that chase ghosts are fake. But nearly nothing's impossible. So I remain highly skeptical about this subject.

I don't care how science tries to dispute it, but from personal experience I remember seeing a ghost.
When I was little in my old house. I was in playing sword-fight with cousin in the basement. He knocked the toy sword out of my hand and it fell under the bed.
As I reached for it, I couldn't pull it out, something was tugging on it. Then I let go and I saw the sword swiping at my legs with a brief glimpse of white fingers holding the handle.
I looked under the bed and there was nothing under there and I grabbed the sword and went upstairs.
Science says there's no such thing as ghosts and that most of the time it would be a hallucination if you saw one. But I didn't just see one, I witnessed one in contact and so did my cousin. Please explain that to me.
