That's when Madara had 1 Rinnegan. When he got 2 Rinnegan, he gained 4 more clones that killed RSM Naruto's clones pretty quickly. The clones didn't seem to go back to Madara. So yes, 2 Rinnegan , 5 Limbo clones is possibly the most haxxed jutsu.

No not really. To be honest, the downside of it sucks. If you use it against somebody that can sense it, and they hit you, any injury the limbo clone recieves is also transferred to the original at the conclusion of the time limit. Might as well just use shadow clones. Same purpose, no risk.

Yeah, people seem to forget that feat. What's stopping 5 clones each kicking someone in the head at super speed at the same time shattering their skull.

Or, what's stopping them from ripping someone apart. They can fly after all. One pulls the head and flies upwards, one pulls one arm and flies away, one does the same to the other, and another one pulls 1 leg, and another one does the same to the other.

Re read chapter 673. No one can sense it, harm it, perceive it. Nothing. It's undetectable and invincible to 99% of the Narutoverse.

And it's way better than than any type of clones, it doesn't divide the user's chakra, and it can't get damaged.

And when Madara obtained both Rinnegan, his clones didn't need to go back to him. unless you have scans?

Was it confirmed that its injuries transfers back to Madara?

Also, Naruto couldn't sense it before he obtained power-up from Hagoromo.
