Not really. I know for a fact there are so many other good people/politicians in this world who would fit better as a president/world leader but aren't there yet. Instead rich guys (Trump) and an old presidents wife (Hillary) are nominees. I think that's so stupid. Put new, fair people up for election... like seriously.

Some are good. Some are bad. C'est la Vie.

I don't believe that every politician shares the unique goal of personally ruining my life. Others are greedy, corrupt asshats who do nothing but ***** themselves out to lobbyists.

Obama is a very likeable person in my opinion. A rare case.
Many politicians are corrupted pieces of trash, everywhere in the world. I do not respect them by default, they have to convince me of their good intentions and kindness. Can't say that I like any of the current important politicians in Germany.

I'm not well versed in current affairs especially those of other countries. But I do know about the politicians in mine.
I am unspeakably ashamed of my country's politicians and I really dislike them. I wonder how it is people can be so heartless and corrupt. They splurge what they've stolen from the country on themselves and their kids while people suffer on our streets.
On my way home a few days ago, a girl (definitely younger than my sister who herself is still a child) tugged on my trousers to beg. Even though she ran off kinda joyfully, the extent the look in her eyes saddened me is no joke. Luckily, the human spirit is sort of indomitable if not the politicians here will possibly be responsible for many deaths.
I dislike them so much they actually make me ashamed of my country which shouldn't happen.

They're trying to ban "hate speech" in the EU right now. So no, I don't like those fascists one bit.

If you criticize the current migrant crisis for example (something that even the freaking Dalai Lama did) there's a chance that your comment gets deleted and that the police asks you a few questions.

Pls just nuke us already because I want off this ride. I didn't ask for this.

Overall, no. I admire some of America's libertarian candidates. It's respectable for a politician to want to decrease government involvement; a refreshing change to combat the pestilence that is is growing ever more tiresome across Europe and America. America's current president is a terrible narcissist. Their main candidates border on fascist and/or communist. Europe has The European People's Party, Party of European Socialists, Labour Party, Christian Democratic parties (just to name a few) that are rapidly trying to undermine individual freedoms and divide wealth. These parties aren't like they once were. It isn't about freedom anymore, it is about repression. I'm well aware of the psychology behind people's gravitation toward communist, fascist, and authoritarian governments, but it is depressing to be older and watch this world changing again (it definitely goes through cycles every few generations). There are more and more young people starting to fight it, but well see what happens.
