Yeah, it just happened.

well what I think is. How boring would "heaven" be just perfection with no experience. I am using the word heaven to describe like a universal conciousness. The nothingness got so bored it decided it wanted to experience!

You aren't asking a question anymore. You are trying to convince everyone that nothing exists, that nothing is true. It is all interpretation. You can play that game all you want, reality will continue on without you.

It still is a question. I'm not trying to convince anyone if that were the case the thread would be called nothing exist. Its just a debatable idea.

I never said my body was a spiritual being and even if I did it would prove nothing. The purpose of this thread, well any thread for that matter is to state and share opinions on certain topics. It isn't necessarily about finding a absolute answer I may have already found a answer and feel like hearing other peoples opinions.

You said the body which you believed in, which made it exist even as a thought it exist :p

Again, you're doing this thing where you say you want to hear my opinion but then you don't accept it. I've accepted yours', if you want to believe you don't exist whoopty doo for you xD but you have to at least take into account that by definition we exist. Since that is my opinion, and going by my definition and the definition of most people enough to be the defined term in the dictionary you have to accept it as thus.

That is where philosophy fails. There is an answer for everything. Certainty, that is the beauty of the world. You would obviously benefit from such a certainty.

By that logic everything we think about exist God, Aliens, etc.

It's hard to explain my thought process but.. Yes, by that logic, God, Unicorns and all that stuff exist as thoughts. In our reality, where things are (presumably) physical and not just imagination, thoughts don't really matter, they're all in your head. But if we really did exist in some big imaginary world that we don't know about, then sure, God and little green men could all live happily with us.

Philosophy is basically, (to me anyway) just talking about nothing until one person gives up.

It does not answer questions, it just creates more that makes you feel helpless.

Just because we have contrasting opinions doesn't mean I can't question and challenge yours, and yes someone else's opinion says we exist. Also words aren't always put in the dictionary because of the way they're defined by most people (some not all cases).

Honestly it's never had that effect on me. Probably because I never care one way or the other, I just like talking about meaningless things that really don't effect everyday life. The fact that the questions don't need answered makes it easier, at least for me to simply talk about the concepts and stuff. o_o' Then again, I'm not a thinking person just a rambler.

But when I question yours, you push me off with things like "words can't be defined" (wonder what the dictionary is for then >_O *Picks nose randomly while speaking shuffling through a stack of papers then throwing them into the air*) Then when I provide proof of existence, you say things like "dictionaries can't define me man!" (again I wonder what they're for, paper weights I guess *Watches as the paper falls all around us* SNOWFLAKES! :bouncy:)

You think everything has a answer? In the world? The universe?

If you smash your head and it hurts it only means you feel nothing more.

If you have feelings it only means that there is a interaction between your environment and what you believe is your body.

Correction: It won't change anything for you but it will provide better understanding for me.

Dictionaries are nothing more than how words are interpreted by some people. A word can mean anything to anyone.

I never said my body was a spiritual being and even if I would have it would prove nothing. Funny, questions usually have a question mark at the end. I see none in your posts.

If someone says a certain democratic government is really a fascist government are they not questioning the democratic government's system or if someone says obama is a good for nothing leader are they not questioning his leadership?

You cannot through questions around to counter arguments or ideas or eventually you guys will end up at:

Why?

Why not?
