Rapping is appalling to music in general. There's nothing in it that contributes to music. Every genre that's out there calls it singing. But with rap it's called rapping. In other words all it is, is talking to the beat that's it. there's really no talent there. auto tune is in the back round which is something that has screwed with music. rap shouldn't be a genre or considered music. I listen to some eminem but I myself don't consider it music. All rap is, is talking to organized sound that's all it is.

I hereby give you the award for the most retarded post I've ever seen. Congratulations, you had a lot of competition on this site, but THAT was probably the most idiotic thing anyone has ever typed on a keyboard.
If you think there's no "talent" in rapping, then why don't you try it? As soon as someone puts a mic in front of you, you'd probably piss yourself. Rap is about lyrical talent, and rhythmic talent - two of the most important key concepts in music. Also, a lot of rappers produce their own auto-tune free instrumentals which contain melody. Boom. All 3 key concepts of music right there. Maybe you should educate yourself on what music actually is before you insult an entire genre of music (that you don't know shit about in the first place)

I give rap its props. I performed on stage. I wrote songs. I talk to different musicians. I listened to all genres. If voicing your opinion is the most retarded thing that has ever been commented on the base. Then I'm pretty sure 99% of all users are pretty retarded. I listen to eminem I'm not saying there's no talent there. But they're not doing enough.
