You have no idea of the circumstances, madara could've been reluctant. Izuna maybe even insisted, point is hashi wouldnt have made that statement if it didnt hold some value. And it seems like youre claiming it holds none

If Madara loved his brother so much why was it necessary to kill him ??
he could have kept him alive after taking his eyes....

we have seen Uchiha's who were alive even after the eyes were taken off

and one good example of this was Madara himself and other is Shisui

Maybe he just was not the kind of person that wouldn't insist on going to war? He was probably too proud of his clan to sit home and wanted to die in battle? It's really impossible to argue over fictional characters when most of the story is unknown.

Yeah right but considering madara's character and new found fact about hatred along with sharingan make me think that madara killed him

since Madara hated weakling for the fact and once Izuna is blind he will be of no use to him .....
Plus Madara was blind so in despair he might have killed Izuna for eyes...


Also most importantly Madara himself after giving his eyes to Nagato used one sharingan eye which till he died...
So if he loved Izuna he would have atleast gave him eye of other Uchiha...
so it makes sense IMO but not sure though hope we will get complete picture ...

Madara would be blind witout eyes, and if madara/izuna had a relationship like sasuke/itachi then its possible for izuna to willingly give up his eyes for his brother's sake. Madara would obviously not approve however izuna could have been insistant and willing to sacrifice himself for the clan. This would make sense because it also gives madara a fuel for his hate

btw madara didnt kill izuna, he died in battle...

Izuna later died honourably in battle, fighting to the death in his blind state.[1]

First we don't know much about madara and izuna's relationship. But I disagree to the fact where people started saying that he loves izuna more then itachi loves sasuke. Hashirama said that but he didn't have much knowledge on itachi and that's y he said what he said.

So what do u think

I believe that one can't compare Itachi's bond/love with his brother, with Madara's bond/love with his brother. Itachi was the brother who gave his eyes while Madara is the brother who got his eyes. Hashirama is comparing apples to oranges.

Madara love < or > Sasuke love (compareble)
Itachi love < or > Izuna (compareble)

But Madara, Itachi = mismatch
