We dont know how the story went. Maybe izuna insisted because madara was the stronger/older brother that he respected and so he wanted him to lead the clan. It can go either way

Yeah but what im saying is that if hashi claims madara loved his brother so much, then it would only make sense that he would be reluctant to the idea of taking his brothers eyes, that sacrifice is probably what bread into madara's "true" hate.

You have no idea of the circumstances, madara could've been reluctant. Izuna maybe even insisted, point is hashi wouldnt have made that statement if it didnt hold some value. And it seems like youre claiming it holds none
