the fact that minato said that clearly means jiraiya had sage mode already when during minato's era, which means he had it in part 1 as well! smh do I really have to explain this?!?!?

as for itachi its obvious as fuk he had sussano in part 1, kishi was simply saving it for part 2 fight against sasuke!

itachi clearly saids he awoke sussano along with tysukuyomi and amaterasu and that fateful day! hence meaning he had sussano in part 1 as well!

My intial comment was " who could have defeated oro and edo during part 1"?

With the information we gathered from part 1, jiraiya canonically did not display or show sage mode until part 2. If we were to go back to the last episode of naruto, you wouldnt say jiraiya could use sage mode and win easily because NO ONE HAD ANY IDEA WHAT SAGE MODE WAS or that it existed.

My statement was made in regards to the characters and there canon tecniques from part 1. Your assuming that you can take part 2 feat and bring them to part 1 characters (which you can in a vs thread), but my statement clearly only means part 1 characters and the abilities they had in part 1. In part one itachi didn't have susanoo and jiraiya didn't have sage mode canonically.

That's like saying hiruzen could have used red sun barrier to trap oro and edo's. Yet in part 1 you had no idea that that techinique even existed so it doesn't apply to part 1, it only applies to shippuden.
