First of all you guys are looking at it from the wrong standpoint. This isnt a battle for blood and carnage its a battle to capture one another. Only reason kabuto was even allowed to go into his little sage mode was they couldnt insta kill him with double amaterasu... In the end itachi won the battle of capturing and not kabuto deal with it.

I could completely understand it if it were the end of Kabuto. I say that because Kabuto has been learning all of these jutsus and absorbing all of these different shinobis. I think it would be quite fitting that for all of his power accumulation, planning, and arrogance, his defeat would come at his own hands by being forced to make a decision.

I would ultimately like to see more battling because I just love love love the manga/show but on the other hand I could understand it if Kishi decided to wipe Kabuto out that way. I do doubt very seriously that this is the last of Kabuto. He is like a roach, you just cannot kill him.

amatarsu wouldnt effect him he can easily liquify or shed to another body.

hmm no offense but this quote will end like the other ones that are similar to this... they weren't trying to kill him. depending on when Izanami was activated, they were probably the one owning him bad. last page of 586 itachis hand on his head while he just drooling like a fool there. Kabuto hasn't lost yet he will most likely just stop edo and have to 1v1 sasuke... but my guess is that itachi has a fail safe plan for sasuke like always... and plot no jutsu will lead to Sasuke > Kabuto.

Well I some what agree with you about him finding away to get out of Izanami he is really smart, like when Tsunade scrambled his electrical signals in his body, look how easily he manged to overcome it, A master mind like that is not gonna go down that easily, I believe he has one more trick up his sleeves

I like kabuto and all, but i disagree with him working hard. All he did was steal DNA and powers :shrug:
