Do moderators get a paycheque?

To any moderators or admins viewing this, I in no way intend this to be offending. I have seen some abuse recently. I am a new user and created posts that weren't according to policy, instead of informing me about the actions I had done or how to prevent these types of things in the future, they deleted my thread and then threatened to ban me.

why do you think NonProfitOrganizations have to get goverment backing to stay alive

My guess is, mods aren't going to like being called "jerks". As someone who typically follows the rules, I've found most of the mods to be fairly easy to get along with.

It depends upon what you said. if you said something offensive to any ethnicity or group and such, they have the right to infract you. In fact i believe as long as they have a suitable reason for it a moderator may infract you for saying anything detramental to others. The question shouldn't be 'Wtf?' your response should be i see, and this will not happen again.

Paycheck...Thats very funny that you ask If thet get payed to moderate a free web forums.No Moderators dont get payed as its just voulnteer work to keep the base under control.You call them jerks yet people are so immature and making complains about *trolls* and not expecting them to react like that.I think you all should just leave base id your not satisfied with the work being put into keeping the site in check.The only money I know is used is the premiums like me,but the money is used to pay for the servers and repairs in which we premium help with.But none the less this thread has been asked before and my advice is to use the search button before making it or if your not getting anwsers go straight to a Global Moderator and personally.There not bad people once you follow rules and dont spam.Anyway I hope I helped

If they ever need disciplining as you say, it is done by the admins. Though the time where that is required is once in a blue moon as they follow the rules to set a good example.
